Central Florida - Winter/Spring Season

During the winter months Walt offers horseback rides in Central Florida. Walt works out of Cypress House Bed & Breakfast and Riding Stable near Brooksville. There he will guide you through the many scenic trails in the nearby Withlachoochee State Forest. He specializes in offering trail rides tailored to the expertise and desires of the rider. Rides can also be arranged to the Ocala Greenway Trail System or other scenic trails in the central Florida area.

You can rent a room at the B & B where Walt will meet you and take you to one of several trailheads in the area.

Walt offers all day rides - which consist of two hours in the morning, break for lunch, then ride some more in the afternoon. Custom rides for no more than four people are preferred. Call Walt at 352-250-6752 to schedule an adventure.

Walt also works as a subcontractor to Cypress House Bed & Breakfast and Riding Stable. Cypress House offers 2-, 3- and 4-hour rides to their guests, available at various times throughout the day. Cypress House B & B and Riding Stable is off Route 476B, west of Bushnell, Florida, about 40 minutes south of Ocala, 35 minutes north of Tampa.

Effective October 1st, 1993, under Florida law an equine activity sponsor or equine professional is not liable for an injury to, or the death of, a participant in equine activities resulting from the inherent risk of equine activities.
Riders are required to sign a release of liability form acknowledging awareness of the Florida statute.
Children are required to wear helmets.
